Cambodia at a glance
Cambodia is one of the easiest single-destination sells in our portfolio because the product is so clearly defined: Angkor Wat and the wider Angkor temple complex near Siem Reap, paired with a capital-city stopover in Phnom Penh. That clarity makes it simple to price and simple for a client to picture before they book, and it works equally well as a standalone 3-5 night trip or as an add-on leg to a Vietnam itinerary, since the two countries share a border and short flight or overland connections. Cambodia is also emerging as a genuine MICE option out of India, with Phnom Penh and Siem Reap both able to host small and mid-sized corporate groups.
Geographically, Cambodia sits in the southeastern part of the Indochina Peninsula, bordered by Vietnam to the east and south, Laos to the northeast, Thailand to the west and northwest, and the Gulf of Thailand to the west. The climate is tropical and consistently warm year-round, with a rainy season running from May to mid-November driven by the southwest monsoon, and a dry season from mid-November to April. Because the country is compact, this climate pattern holds fairly evenly across both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap, which makes the November-to-April window a safe default for almost any Cambodia program.
This makes Cambodia a strong fit for first-time Southeast Asia travellers who want a heritage-led trip without a long itinerary, for clients already booking Vietnam who want to extend into a second country, and for corporate groups looking at Phnom Penh or Siem Reap for a compact incentive program. Phnom Penh is the capital, the Cambodian Riel (KHR) is the official currency — though US dollars circulate alongside it and are accepted almost everywhere — and Khmer is the national language, with a portion of the population also able to communicate in Vietnamese or Thai given Cambodia's shared borders.
Where to go
Most of our Cambodia itineraries run as a Phnom Penh-Siem Reap combination rather than either city on its own, since the two are well connected and the pairing gives a client both the capital and the temples in one trip.

Our packages
Our Cambodia range runs from a 3D/2N Siem Reap-only temple visit to a 6D/5N Phnom Penh and Siem Reap combination, with the 4D/3N and 5D/4N versions of that same pairing our most commonly booked formats. Every itinerary is built around Angkor Wat sunrise or sunset timing, since that is what most clients specifically ask for.
Extensions into Vietnam — most often Ho Chi Minh City — are straightforward to add given the short connection between the two countries. Share your client's dates and interest level in the temples versus the capital and we will return a day-by-day plan.
Working with us on the ground
Indochina Signature runs its Cambodia operations from an office in Phnom Penh, giving us direct oversight of hotel bookings, temple-pass logistics and guide scheduling in both Phnom Penh and Siem Reap rather than coordinating everything remotely. That local presence is what lets us confirm changes quickly when a client's plans shift close to travel.
