Package overview
This is the only itinerary in the Thailand lineup built around Koh Samui, on the Gulf of Thailand side rather than the Andaman coast used by the Phuket, Krabi and Pattaya routes. Two internal flights bookend the trip — Bangkok to Samui on arrival, Samui to Bangkok before departure — and the days in between focus on boat-based nature stops: Koh Nangyuan and Koh Tao for snorkelling, then Ang Thong Marine Park's karst islands and lagoons.
A Samui city tour rounds out the island days with the Hin Ta and Hin Yai rock formations, a coconut plantation, Wat Khunaram's mummified monk and the Big Buddha Temple, before the group flies back to Bangkok for one last half-day temple tour.
Trip highlights

- Closing Bangkok temple tour — the Golden Buddha and Marble Temple
Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok, flight to Samui
After the connecting flight to Koh Samui and hotel check-in, the rest of the day is free for guests to settle in and get their first look at the island's beaches.
Day 2: Koh Nangyuan and Koh Tao snorkelling tour by speedboat with lunch
Koh Nangyuan is formed of three small islands linked by a sandbar, each ringed by boulder clusters and white beaches that shift shape with the tides; the surrounding coral rewards a walk up the viewpoint hill.
The boat continues to Koh Tao, known as Turtle Island for its bays and coral reefs, and a popular base for dive schools — snorkelling here is generally easier and calmer than at more exposed stops.
Day 3: Full-day Ang Thong National Marine Park tour with lunch
Ang Thong National Marine Park is a cluster of limestone islands and hidden lagoons off Koh Samui, reached by boat for a full day of viewpoints, sheltered coves and time in the water.
The park's terrain — sheer cliffs rising straight from turquoise water — makes it one of the more scenic full-day boat trips on the Gulf side of Thailand.
Day 4: Samui city tour, departure to Bangkok
The city tour starts at Hin Ta and Hin Yai, a pair of naturally formed rock outcrops on the coast, followed by a coconut plantation visit where trained monkeys demonstrate picking coconuts from the trees.
From Nathon town, where guests can browse souvenir shops, the tour continues to Wat Khunaram, known for its mummified monk displayed inside the temple, and finishes at the Big Buddha Temple before the flight back to Bangkok.
Day 5: Bangkok city tour — Golden Buddha and Marble Temple
A half-day city tour covers Wat Traimit's Golden Buddha and Wat Benchamabophit, the Marble Temple, giving the group a compact Bangkok sightseeing block before departure the next day.
Day 6: Departure from Bangkok
After breakfast and check-out, guests are transferred to the airport for their departure flight, closing out the Koh Samui island break.
