THAILAND TOUR PACKAGE

5 Days / 4 Nights Phuket & Krabi Tour

Agents selling to guests who want two distinct island days rather than one repeated boat trip should look here: this route pairs Phuket's Phi Phi Island run with Krabi's separate 4-Island circuit.

Package overview

This itinerary treats Phuket and Krabi as two separate island bases rather than a single-hub trip. Guests spend the first two nights in Phuket, using it as the launch point for Phuket Fantasea and the Phi Phi Island boat day, before an overland transfer to Krabi for two more nights built around Krabi's own 4-Island speedboat tour.

Because the islands visited from each base don't overlap — Phi Phi from Phuket, Koh Poda and Chicken Island from Krabi — agents can position this as a fuller Andaman sampler than single-base Phuket or Krabi packages, at the cost of one overland transfer day.

Trip highlights

  • Evening Phuket Fantasea cultural show with dinner
  • Full-day Phi Phi Island tour by big boat with lunch
  • Overland transfer from Phuket to Krabi (approx. 2 hrs 30 mins / 163 km)
  • Full-day 4-Island speedboat tour from Krabi — Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Tup Island and Phranang Cave Beach
  • One full free day for leisure in Krabi

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Phuket Airport to Phuket hotel (45 mins / approx. 33 km)

After arrival at Phuket Airport and hotel check-in, guests are picked up at 17:00 for Phuket Fantasea, a nighttime cultural theme park set across 140 acres.

The evening includes a 4,000-seat buffet dinner of Thai and international dishes followed by a Las Vegas-style theatrical show built around Thai myths and legends, produced with elaborate set design and special effects.

Day 2: Full-day Phi Phi Island tour by big boat with lunch (approx. 9 hrs)

Phi Phi Island, roughly two hours from Phuket by big boat, is one of the Andaman coast's best-known stops for its limestone cliffs and clear water. The full-day format allows time at multiple bays with lunch included, before the return crossing to Phuket in the late afternoon.

This is a shared big-boat tour, so pace and exact stops follow the operator's standard route for the day.

Day 3: Phuket to Krabi hotel transfer (2 hrs 30 mins / approx. 163 km)

Guests check out of the Phuket hotel and are transferred overland to Krabi by private vehicle or seat-in-coach. The rest of the day is free for leisure, with an overnight stay at the Krabi hotel.

Day 4: Full-day 4-Island tour by speedboat with lunch box

This shared speedboat tour hops between four of Krabi's signature islands: Koh Poda, Chicken Island, Tup Island and Phranang Cave Beach, with time built in for swimming and snorkelling at each stop.

A national park fee of THB 400 per person applies and is payable locally. Guests return to the Krabi hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 5: Krabi hotel to Krabi Airport (30 mins / approx. 24 km)

After breakfast and check-out, guests are transferred to Krabi Airport by private vehicle for their departure flight, closing out the Andaman leg of the trip.

Frequently asked questions

Does the group fly out of Krabi or Phuket at the end?
This itinerary ends with departure from Krabi Airport, since the route finishes in Krabi. Guests should book their outbound flight from Krabi, not Phuket.
Is the national park fee for the 4-Island tour included in the tour price?
No, the THB 400 per person national park fee for the Krabi islands is collected locally and is not bundled into the package cost.
How long is the overland transfer between Phuket and Krabi?
The drive is approximately 2 hours 30 minutes over about 163 km, run by private vehicle or seat-in-coach depending on the booking.
Are the Phi Phi Island and 4-Island tours suitable for non-swimmers?
Yes, both are boat-based tours with optional swimming and snorkelling stops; guests who prefer to stay on the boat or beach can do so without joining the water activities.
What is the best season for this Andaman combination?
November to April offers the calmest seas for both the Phi Phi and 4-Island speedboat crossings. Some island stops may be closed or restricted during the Andaman monsoon (roughly May to October).
