This is the only Hua Hin itinerary in the programme that does not continue on to Bangkok or Pattaya, keeping the group based in one Hua Hin hotel for the full four nights. Two day trips break up the stay: a half-day around Hua Hin and Cha-am, and separate full-day options to Pa-La-U Waterfall and to the Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and River Kwai in Kanchanaburi.

Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok, transfer to Hua Hin (about 3 hours / 222 km)
On arrival at Suvarnabhumi Airport, the group is transferred by road to Hua Hin, roughly a three-hour drive down the Gulf coast, where the same hotel is used for all four nights of the stay. Thailand's original royal seaside resort, Hua Hin combines a walkable old town, beachfront and night markets, with the rest of arrival day left free.
Day 2: Half-day Hua Hin and Cha-am tour
The half-day tour typically takes in Maruekhathaiyawan Palace, the teakwood royal residence built for King Rama VI, and Khao Takiab (Monkey Mountain), a hillside monastery known for its coastal views and resident macaques, along with the ornate pavilion at Hua Hin Railway Station, before returning to the same hotel for the rest of the stay.
Day 3: Full-day Pa-La-U Waterfall trek (Kaeng Krachan National Park)
The day trip drives about 60 km west of Hua Hin into Kaeng Krachan National Park toward the hills near the Myanmar border, reaching Pa-La-U Waterfall, a 16-tier cascade set in forest said to be over a thousand years old. A trek through the rainforest leads up to the fourth cascade, where a pool holds wild carp, with wild monkeys and birdlife often spotted along the trail, before lunch at a local restaurant and the drive back to the same Hua Hin hotel.
Day 4: Full-day Damnoen Saduak Floating Market and River Kwai (Kanchanaburi) tour
A roughly two-hour drive leads to Damnoen Saduak Floating Market in Ratchaburi province, known since the 1960s for vendors trading fruit, food and goods from paddle boats along the canal — one of the clearest surviving examples of Thailand's traditional waterway commerce.
The day continues to Kanchanaburi, where a stop at the JEATH Museum, a reconstruction of the huts used to hold prisoners of war, displays records and photographs from the Japanese occupation during the Second World War. The group then visits the Bridge over the River Kwai, has lunch at a local restaurant, and closes with a stop at a war cemetery for allied soldiers who died building the railway, before returning to the Hua Hin hotel.
Day 5: Transfer to Suvarnabhumi Airport for departure
The stay closes with checkout from the Hua Hin hotel and transfer to Suvarnabhumi Airport in Bangkok for the return or onward flight.
