Day-by-day itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Bangkok, overland transfer to Hua Hin (about 3 hours / 222 km)
Your flight lands at Suvarnabhumi Airport, and the group transfers directly by road to Hua Hin, Thailand's original royal seaside resort on the Gulf of Thailand. Once a fishing village favoured by Thai kings for its beaches and cooler sea breeze, Hua Hin today mixes a walkable old town, night markets and long stretches of sand with easy access to nearby Cha-am. The rest of the day is free to settle in before touring begins.
Day 2: Half-day Hua Hin and Cha-am tour
A half-day sightseeing tour heads north to Maruekhathaiyawan Palace, the teakwood 'Palace of Love and Hope' built for Rama VI in 1924, before continuing south through Hua Hin to Khao Takiab (Monkey Mountain), a hillside temple known for its resident macaques and coastal viewpoint. The route also passes Hua Hin's historic railway station, with its ornate royal pavilion, one of the most photographed stations in Thailand.
Day 3: Full-day Pa-La-U Waterfall trek (Kaeng Krachan National Park)
The day is spent in Kaeng Krachan National Park, driving roughly 60 km west from Hua Hin toward the hills along the Myanmar border to reach Pa-La-U Waterfall, a 16-tier cascade set inside forest that is said to be over a thousand years old. Guests trek through the rainforest up to the fourth tier, where a pool holds wild carp, watching and listening for monkeys and birdlife along the way, before lunch at a local restaurant and the return drive to Hua Hin.
Day 4: Hua Hin to Pattaya by ferry (about 2 hours), evening Alcazar show
After checking out of the Hua Hin hotel, the group crosses the Gulf of Thailand by ferry to Pattaya, arriving at Bali Hai Pier after a crossing of roughly two hours. On arrival, transfer continues by road to the Pattaya hotel, marking the shift from Hua Hin's quiet royal seaside pace to Pattaya's livelier beach-resort atmosphere for the next three nights.
The evening is set aside for the Alcazar Cabaret Show, one of Pattaya's longest-running attractions since 1990 and among the best-known transvestite cabaret shows in Thailand. Staged in a 1,200-seat theatre, the performance combines elaborate costumes, choreography and modern lighting and sound design, and works well as a shared group activity to open the Pattaya leg of the trip.
Day 5: Half-day Coral Island (Koh Larn) tour with Indian lunch option (about 5 hours)
Coral Island, locally known as Koh Larn, sits about 7 km off Pattaya Beach and has six beaches around its shoreline. This half-day join tour is timed with an Indian lunch option, though it can be switched to a Thai set lunch for non-Indian nationalities in the same group. Tawaen Beach, the island's most developed stretch, gets busy with both domestic weekend visitors from Bangkok and international travellers, and offers optional paid water sports such as jet ski, banana boat, parasailing and underwater sea walk.
Day 6: Half-day Nong Nooch Tropical Garden tour (SIC) and evening Art in Paradise (private)
Morning pickup takes the group to Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden, home to more than 670 native and hybrid plant species alongside long-running conservation and breeding programmes. The visit includes an elephant show and a Thai cultural performance that pairs traditional dance with martial arts against an elaborately staged set, giving the group both a botanical and a cultural stop in one outing.
In the evening, a private vehicle transfers guests to Art in Paradise, Thailand's first 3D trick-art museum, where painted scenes are designed for guests to pose inside — appearing to dangle from a tomb wall or sit among a field of roses. It is a popular stop for families and groups looking for a lighter, photo-driven activity after a day of sightseeing.
Day 7: Pattaya to Bangkok (about 2 hours 30 minutes / 147 km), city and temple tour, Chao Phraya dinner cruise
The group is picked up from the Pattaya hotel around 08:30 and transferred to Bangkok by private car or coach. On arrival, luggage is left at the hotel while the group joins a join-in Bangkok city tour covering some of the capital's oldest temples, including the Marble Temple (Wat Benchamabophit) in Dusit district and the Golden Buddha (Wat Traimit), with a stop at a gems gallery before hotel check-in.
In the evening, guests are picked up around 18:00 for the Chao Phraya Dinner Cruise from River City Pier, taking in Bangkok's illuminated riverfront and glimpses of local river life over a Thai, international and Indian buffet — a relaxed way to close a long travel day.
Day 8: Bangkok to Safari World and Marine Park and back (about 1 hour 30 minutes / 34 km one way)
Pickup from the hotel around 08:00 leads to Safari World, one of Thailand's largest open zoos and leisure parks, spread across roughly 170 acres in two zones. Safari Park is toured by vehicle through a savannah-style setting with zebra, giraffe, tigers, lions and bears in open enclosures, while Marine Park focuses on dolphin and sea lion shows — a day that suits families and groups travelling with children. The group is back at the Bangkok hotel by around 17:00, with the evening free.
Day 9: Free day in Bangkok, evening Siam Niramit show
The day is left free for independent leisure or shopping in Bangkok before an evening pickup around 18:00 for the Siam Niramit Show, a large-scale production of Thai history and culture staged on a Guinness World Records-listed stage. The show features more than 100 performers in elaborate costume, with staging and effects built around Thai mythology and heritage, and works well as a relaxed final group activity in the city.
Day 10: Transfer to Suvarnabhumi Airport for departure
The tour closes with a transfer from the Bangkok hotel to Suvarnabhumi Airport in good time for the return or onward flight. This is also a natural point for agents to slot in an extra night in Bangkok or attach another Thailand itinerary, such as an island extension, for guests with more time.
