Package overview

At eight days and seven nights, this is one of the longer single itineraries in the Thailand range. It opens in Pattaya, with an optional evening Alcazar Show and a full-day Coral Island speedboat trip with Indian lunch, before an overland transfer to Bangkok for a half-day temple and city tour taking in the Golden Buddha and a gems gallery.

From Bangkok, guests fly to Phuket for the trip's longest single stay — three nights covering the Fantasea show, a half-day city tour with shopping, and a full-day Phi Phi Island trip by big boat. Rather than splitting nights evenly across three stops, this version front-loads Pattaya and Bangkok and closes with an extended beach stay, making it a good fit for clients who want more total time and a longer finish on the Andaman coast.

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Arrival at Bangkok, transfer to Pattaya, optional evening Alcazar Show

On arrival in Bangkok, guests are transferred directly to Pattaya and checked into their hotel, with time to unwind on arrival.

In the evening, an optional Alcazar Cabaret Show can be arranged — a Pattaya institution since 1990, staged in a 1,200-seat theatre with elaborate lighting and sound, often compared to Paris's Moulin Rouge or London's Lido.

Day 2: Coral Island tour by speedboat with lunch

After breakfast, a speedboat takes guests to Koh Larn, known as Coral Island, for a day relaxing on its golden beaches, swimming and snorkelling over the surrounding coral formations, which can also be viewed by glass-bottom boat. An Indian lunch is served back in Pattaya, and the join speedboat tour stops for optional parasailing along the way, with the evening left free.

Day 3: Transfer from Pattaya to Bangkok

Guests check out of their Pattaya hotel and are transferred to Bangkok by road, with the rest of the day free for rest or independent exploration before the following day's city tour.

Day 4: Half-day Bangkok city and temple tour

A half-day tour introduces Bangkok's history and culture, including the Golden Buddha Temple, home to a solid-gold Buddha image over 700 years old and one of the largest of its kind in the world, along with a visit to Wat Maha Prattharam. The tour continues with a Gems Gallery visit tracing how precious stones are sourced, cut, shaped and polished, reached aboard a small toy train.

Day 5: Fly Bangkok to Phuket, evening Fantasea show

After breakfast and check-out, guests fly from Bangkok to Phuket and are transferred to their hotel, around 30 minutes from the airport, with time to settle in.

In the evening, the group attends the Phuket Fantasea show, a 140-acre cultural theme park inspired by Thai heritage, combining a carnival village, a 4,000-seat buffet restaurant and a Las Vegas-style theatrical production with elephants, fire performers, dancers and a tiger — a spectacle designed to appeal to the whole family.

Day 6: Half-day Phuket city tour and shopping

A half-day tour typically covers Phuket's well-known viewpoints over its western beaches, a visit to one of the island's largest temples, and a stop at a local handicraft or gem shop, giving guests a broad first look at the island before the following day's boat trip.

Day 7: Full-day Phi Phi Island tour by big boat

The day is spent island-hopping around the Phi Phi archipelago by big boat, taking in Phi Phi Don and the limestone cliffs of Phi Phi Lay, home to Maya Bay, with time for swimming and snorkelling in the clear water before the return crossing to Phuket.

Day 8: Departure

After breakfast and check-out, guests are transferred to Phuket Airport for their onward or return flight, bringing the tour to a close.

Frequently asked questions

Is the Alcazar Show included, or is it optional?
It is offered as an optional evening excursion in Pattaya rather than a fixed inclusion; agents should confirm whether it is priced in or offered as an add-on.
How many domestic flights does this itinerary include?
One, from Bangkok to Phuket. The Pattaya-to-Bangkok leg earlier in the trip is by road.
Do Indian travellers need a visa for Thailand?
Visa rules for Indian passport holders have changed in recent years and remain subject to change; agents should confirm current requirements with the nearest Thai embassy or consulate.
Why does this route take eight days instead of seven?
It front-loads Pattaya and Bangkok, then adds a third night in Phuket for a longer beach finish, rather than splitting the week evenly across three two-night stops as in our shorter combinations.
Can a Krabi extension be added onto the Phuket leg?
Yes, since Phuket is the final stop, extra nights or a Krabi add-on can be built in on request.
