Package overview

This five-day itinerary follows the same Manila-Tagaytay-Angeles City route as Indochina Signature's four-day version, but adds a full extra day so Angeles City gets a dedicated tour day rather than being combined with the transfer from Manila. Two nights in Manila cover the city's Spanish colonial landmarks — Intramuros, Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral and Casa Manila — plus a day trip to Tagaytay for views over Taal Volcano.

The transfer to Angeles City is followed by a full Angeles City tour covering Clark Museum, the former Air Force base area, Pamintuan Mansion, Hansa Museum and Nepo Market, before returning to Manila on the final day. The extra night makes this version a better fit than the four-day itinerary for clients specifically interested in the Clark area's US military and colonial-era history, rather than treating it as a brief overnight stop.

Trip highlights

  • Manila heritage sites: Intramuros, Fort Santiago, Manila Cathedral and Casa Manila
  • Taal Volcano Island tour and Tagaytay sightseeing
  • Dedicated full-day Angeles City tour covering Clark Museum, Pamintuan Mansion, Hansa Museum and Nepo Market
  • Two full nights in Angeles City rather than a single overnight stop
  • SM Mall of Asia shopping and seaside area

Day-by-day itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Manila

Arrival in Manila to begin the tour, with the rest of the day free before the Tagaytay day trip and Manila sightseeing that follow.

Day 2: Taal Volcano Island tour and Tagaytay sightseeing

A day trip to Tagaytay for its views over Taal Lake and the volcano at its centre, with sightseeing around the ridge area before returning to Manila for the night.

Day 3: Manila sightseeing and transfer to Angeles City

Sightseeing around Intramuros, the walled district that stood in for Manila itself during the Spanish colonial period, including Fort Santiago — one of the city's most significant historical sites and the place where national hero Jose Rizal was imprisoned before his 1896 execution — plus Manila Cathedral and the Casa Manila museum. The day continues with a transfer to Angeles City.

Day 4: Angeles City tour

A full day touring Angeles City, covering Clark Museum, the former Air Force base area, Pamintuan Mansion, Hansa Museum and Nepo Market. The area's history is closely tied to its decades as a US military base, giving this day a distinct character from the Spanish-colonial sites covered in Manila.

Day 5: Angeles City to Manila, return

Transfer back from Angeles City to Manila, with time available for shopping at SM Mall of Asia and its seaside area before the departure flight.

Frequently asked questions

How does this differ from the shorter 4-day Manila–Angeles City itinerary?
The extra day gives Angeles City a dedicated full tour day rather than combining sightseeing with the transfer, which suits clients with a specific interest in Clark's history; the Manila and Tagaytay portions are otherwise the same.
Do Indian passport holders need a Philippine visa?
Indian nationals with a valid US, UK, Canada, Schengen, Japan or Australia visa or residency generally qualify for visa-free entry for short stays; otherwise a Philippine visa is required. Confirm current requirements before booking.
Does this itinerary include any island or beach component?
No — it's a Luzon culture and heritage circuit covering Manila, Tagaytay and Angeles City only; agents wanting to add islands should look at combining it with a Boracay or Palawan extension.
Is this itinerary suitable for corporate or MICE groups?
Yes, its city-and-heritage focus with no island transfers makes it straightforward to operate for corporate groups on a short Luzon program.
What is the best time of year for this itinerary?
November to May offers the clearest conditions for the Tagaytay viewpoint over Taal; the wetter June–October season brings more cloud cover but doesn't typically disrupt the Manila or Angeles City portions.
